Criticism
These books talk about a possible future- they are fantasy books- and they're exceptionally original and good books. In the beginning they seem a bit over the top and I didn't like the very first impression because of the way the start was written, but I encourage you not to be put down by it if you get the same feeling as me because in the end you end up so into the books that you finish crying for the main character- I must admit that that is what happened to me. The end is completely unexpected and good, mostly because it doesn't leave you hollow inside, asking yourself "And now what?". If you liked The Hunger Games, you'll like this saga and vice versa. They're both very deep and they both belong more or less to the same kind of style. The end of Uglies, etc. is more specific but I wouldn't be able to tell which of both I liked best. I just need to say that they are two stories that you have to read, mostly if you're under twenty years old, and that they're both written for boys and girls.
They are very philosophical novels in a very undirect way, but they make you see the way in which we are manipulated by society, popularity and beauty. They show us the dangers of lying and how much a person can suffer for it; and all this will be of use for the readers as a new and good point of view towards life, as they're very moral books.
