Before anything, I'd like to say that even though this blog is written in English, I recommend you to do as I did and read the books I criticise in their original language (if you can). This way you'll like them much more and you'll find astute word games and double meanings which will help you read the book in all of its potential.

Recommendations

You can recommend me the books you like for me to read them and criticise them in the blog :)

  1. ‘Truth Games’ http://is.gd/gAg3ZZ explores issues of infidelity in 1970s London, when the freedoms of the swinging 60s began to run into trouble. It’s the two blazing hot summers of 75 and 76, and a group of friends are getting way out of their depth in infidelity. Thought-provoking stuff. Readers’ reviews on Amazon.co.uk

In ‘Love, Revenge & Buttered Scones’ http://is.gd/jT8HzO, longlisted for the 2011 International Book Award, three hapless individuals dash off to the Scottish Highlands to find their destinies mysteriously entwined around a reading group in the Inverness public library. Twists, surprises, very funny, with also some dark & serious threads, it keeps you guessing throughout. Readers’ reviews on Amazon.co.uk
