Before anything, I'd like to say that even though this blog is written in English, I recommend you to do as I did and read the books I criticise in their original language (if you can). This way you'll like them much more and you'll find astute word games and double meanings which will help you read the book in all of its potential.

Fearless - Tim Lott

Criticism

Fearless is one of my favourite books which has carved itself a place in my heart. I can sincerely say that when I finished reading it a few teardrops escaped my eyes and I nearly started weeping. It is a very deep book and, for the more lazy readers, a bit short; but it contains a depth that I must say I found more profound than the famous book The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas. To be sincere, and this may sound a bit childish, it reminded me of the song of Hillary Duff called Come Clean. If you like that song I think you'll like the book and if not, I advice you to read it anyway because really, like every book of this wonderfull author, this one is really good and I find it quite sad that it isn't as famous as I think it should be.
In a way I think that people who liked 1984 will like this book. They reminded me of one another, although Fearless is more modern.
